The way of the future: FUX expands its factory premises!

Omco and its predecessor, the American-owned Ross Mould International Ltd., had produced glass moulds in Miskolc since 1998. Following its 2024 closure, negotiations began between FUX Zrt. and the owners of the Belgian company, which resulted in a sale and purchase agreement and FUX Zrt. becoming the new owner of the 45,146 square metre area.

With this expansion of its territory, the local enterprise with over 220 employees further increases its storage capacity and, more importantly, gains additional factory halls for the necessary future expansion of its production capabilities. This new investment may not only encourage the increase of production capacity or the introduction of new types of products, but it also provide opportunities for real estate development via the utilization of certain parts of the area.

This strategic move further strengthens the position of FUX Zrt., a constantly growing business with nearly 30 billion forints (76 million euros) in sales revenue in 2024, as one of the defining family enterprises of the region.
